Any review that says someone called them back is fabricated, I've been calling customer service and they'll transfer you to non working numbers and you'll be on hold for hours. Do not believe any review thats says someone from the bank called them, its not true they do not call back their customers because they do not have the capacity to call anyone. You are only able to speak to agents, and they are not able to resolve important issues. Ā
THE MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER DEALT WITH! My savings account with the local SECU was switched to Civic in May. I have called numerous times to speak to an Account Specialist to close out my account with less than $50. No one ever answers the line. I've waited for over an hour on three calls and still no one answers. Put my number in for a call back "within 24 hours" and that doesn't happen either. I would love to give negative stars! I wish that I could leave less than one star. This has been a horrible experience. 1. They showed the easy end of NC what they thought of us by not opening a local branch. 2. After having no choice, we make mobile payroll deposits and cash deposits per ATM.. Both are held at random. 3. Next, when we call to inquire, we are left on hold upwards of 2 hours. LGFCU CARED, CIVIC DOES NOT CARE!!šš¾Ā
This bank is horrible all around. I was transferred from my Local Government Credit Union to Civic Federal Credit Union. I had no problems at the Local Government Bank at all. When my accounts were transferred to Civic Federal Credit Union it has been a NIGHTMARE!!!ā¦ I recommend banking else where and get a loan from another bank to pay Civic Federal credit Union loan. This bank is a full on JOKE! I will be entering a complaint with BBB on Civic Federal Credit practices. Ā
I never write reviews but my experience with Civic has been a nightmare! They were not prepared for the switch nor volume! This is a secondary acct for me but if it was primary....I would be doing like so many has done...close the my accts. So much incompetence here with the right not knowing what the left is doing. I am here to share my experience with Civic Bank after being a loyal LGFCU member for over 40 years with no issues. Unfortunately, things have been quite different since I switched to Civic. Recently, someone managed to change my account details and make fraudulent payments totaling over $12,000. This happened despite my account having only about $60 in it. At LGFCU, this would have been flagged immediately as fraudulent, but Civic processed these transactions without a second thought. I've tried to resolve this by calling...Ā read more
Horrible experience. Apparently my auto loan was taken off of auto-pay with ZERO notice. I called to inquire about why my loan payment wasn't on autopay anymore, and an hour later, still on hold. I tried their "deposit cash with barcode" feature, a total failure. The app says you can deposit up to $999 in a single transaction and $2500 in a single day. I was told at Walgreens that the max was $500 per transaction, and the app would not generate any barcodes after my first $500 deposit. This "bank" is a JOKE!!!! I transferred...Ā read more
Ever since that lgfcu change to Civic it has been a nightmare. I have been on the phone for 1.5 hrs just to pay my bill since my external payment doesnt work. Customer service is terrible do not go to Civic. Go elsewhere, I am getting to close my accounts.Ā
