Dr. Ciulla is probably one of the best eye doctors I have been to. I had cataract surgery done by another physician who tore the lens pocket, and I was sent to Dr. Ciulla for repair. I needed a vitrectomy, which he did that day. He fit me in, and treated me with utmost care and respect. Very confident while caring. I had some bleeding issues which he cured/fixed immediately. I have had many eye issues in the past, but he has helped with with all and I am very thankful for his help and expert work.

I had a vitrectomy done on each eye this year 10 months apart. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Ciulla and the care I received. The surgeries involved very little discomfort and the recovery from both was quick. The procedures removed very large floaters from my eyes and has made my vision so much better. I wish I had gone to see Dr Ciulla sooner.

Promptness of appointment time was excellent, even though I was a late add on. I needed surgery and he was able to accommodate that service that day! Every aspect of my journey with him was explained in detail, which gave me great comfort. The staff is awesome and very helpful. I am healing nicely and very thankful, I would highly recommend Dr. Ciulla.

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to receive my surgery from Dr. Ciulla! His skill level, courtesy, and caring is unprecedented! I had the same problem one year ago, and I had to have two surgeries in two weeks from the other provider I went to in a different city. Dr. Ciulla's credentials and contributions to macular and retinal health and treatment are most impressive. I strongly encourage you to read them. But beyond the professional accolades, I discovered that Dr. Ciulla is a caring and warm human being. He listened intently and explained options in a way I understood without having to have my thesaurus handy. His approach made me a partner as well as a patient. His staff is a reflection of the man. Caring, friendly, competent and always professional.

Dr. Ciulla's credentials seemed very impressive but his practice is like a meat market - get in and get out as fast as possible. Instead of him listening to my questions, he actually handed me an iPad with a video to watch and then he quickly walked out. Worst bedside manner on the plane. He left an assistant in the room who could not answer anything. His bill was earth-shattering but my insurance company handled it and denied his excessive fee. Go to someone who cares or at least acts like it.
