Worst home buying experience ever. They make promises and don't follow through. Be careful when signing their 150 page contract. Regular real estate contracts are 10 to 20 pages max. They put some much junk into their contract to protect themselves and give you the buyer no warranty or benefits. What these other reviews mention are all true. They push you to use their lender and offer an incentive because they allow them to get away with selling the homes when they aren't even 100% completed. City ventures tricked us, we worked really hard and got pre approved. Worked with their lender Jessica cao and lan bao from ***** *****, we were already approved through an outside bank but Michelle burkenbine the sales manager insisted we go with ***** ***** because they have a deal with them. We put the deposit down of $8,000 and were ready to move forward. Michelle said the old buyer backed out and didn’t want to move forward. They are an absolute nightmare to work with. They're sales offensive are run by people that are both incompetent and unethical and the corporate level are basically liars. I would stay far away from buying anything directly from City Ventures and you will come to regret it.

Does not respond to new owners to fix warranty problems. Breaks promises, gives erroneous and misleading information. Sales people are encouraged to lie to potential homeowners about townhouses being “plumbed” for additions which is patently untrue. It took five months to get one contract item finished. I have a king list of items which need fixing and no recourse to get them done. City Ventures appears to be firing its employees. Are they in financial trouble?

Mixed feelings excited that I bought my first house but sadly disappointed. Was also told a move in date and got pushed back farther and farther that we spend a month living at the hotel you would think the time they used to push it back that would because of so-called due diligence in workmanship. Work was shoddy but wouldn't have known at the time because we are inexperienced. DO NOT BUY HOME UNLESS THEY WARRANTY FOR 5 YEARS instead of JUST 1 YEAR because the shoddy workmanship will fall apart shortly afterward. ITS BRAND ... read more
