The City of Oaks was perfect for my dad's wishes. He wanted simple and yet classy for his military funeral. Jessica helped me understand for a moment; I was upset. I had never attended a funeral, and I was stuck on words ans a process, and she helped calm me down. City of Oaks went above ans beyond to help, even getting my father a shirt he had not put in his funeral clothing. I now know what to expect in the future and we will use City Of Oaks again.
My father went to be with the Lord recently, and City of Oaks came to the house in the wee hours of the morning. The young man who came to the door was so humble and courteous. The other fellow was also very professional. They handled my father's lifeless body with the utmost care and respect all the while recognizing our weary and grievous condition. I just had a truly heartbreaking experience with City of Oaks, in which they massively failed my family and I, making a major and irrevocable mistake. i was intent on ID'ing my father's body before his cremation - not only for my own closure and peace of mind, but also because his remains had been transported from another funeral home, not directly from where he passed away. City of Oaks was so amazing in a very difficult time with the passing of our son way too soon. His wish was to be cremated. City of Oaks was 1/3 of the price of everywhere else I contacted for a simple direct cremation but still provided amazing care and service.
