I have been seeing Dr. Kasi for a Lynch Syndrome cancer since 2020. I tried another Hereditary Cancer group, but found that it would be far inferior due to the lack of Dr. Kasi's expertise in Liquid Biopsy and Immunotherapy. Although City of Hope is far from my home, I find it to be a very upbeat, friendly and efficient environment. Also, a break from Minnesota winter is a plus.
My mother has been battling cancer for 8 years now. She received some of the best care at COH Irvine. She felt a lot of love and care from all the staff members there. We would like to especially thanks RN James in the ETC, MD Patel, MD Sarafian, PA Genavive, RN Ann Marie on the 6th floor, and PCT Allison on the 6th floor. All of them took extra time to ensure my mom was well taken care of.
This place is Not patient priority, last priority place. Never improve patiant communication since started treatment from 2023. No other hospitals let you leave the messages and wait for 2-3 days. This cancer center does, so you can’t get in touch with anyone, unless you show up in person and ask a favors.
I took my wife to City of Hope in Irvine for her appointment and infusion and what a beautiful facility. The staff and quality of care are stellar. Joyce was the RN who assisted my wife with her infusion and was so professional, caring and knowledgeable. The experience was perfectly orchestrated and my wife was pleased overall. Highly recommended!
