Absolute thieves! Haven't run my AC all month and cut my pool down from 12 hours per day to 6 hours per day. My electric bill was within $10 of last month. Called to report a problem with my meter and was told I could request an energy audit - I dont need an audit I need to know what is wrong with my meter.
My power went out at 3:30a.m. Griffin Power first notified me by text my power was out and when I called them regarding the electric outage there was an immediate prompt telling me they were aware of the outage at my address. They restored power within 35 minutes. Very impressed and appreciated their prompt service given it was before 4a.m.
The biggest rip off in Griffin! Do not buy a home where you need power from them! I’m 57 and have owned 12 homes, NEVER had a 900.00 bill in any other 2400 sq ft home serviced by GA Power or EMC! I’ve survived 7 yrs under them, but plan to sale soon ONLY because of this service provider, I love my home. You won’t find anyone who is honest that tells you different!
