The emphasis in City Lights of China the basement restaurant is on fabulous and reasonably priced food. It is very popular among Dupont Circle diners, so expect quite a crush at peak dining hours. The menu is extensive, with hearty soups served in meal-size portions and entrees that include extravagant dishes, such as whole sea bass.

The shrimp on the cho fun was FRESH! The sweet & sour pork was by far the BEST I've had; the pork was cut in small pieces so it remained te... read more
Pretty good Chinese food The food here is pretty good as far as Chinese food goes. Their delivery is good and reliable, thought it usually takes upward of an hour (typical of delivery around here for some reason). Prices are very reasonable.
