Great atmosphere and food!
The Portions were small for entrees and salads. Very overpriced for the portions. Got jumbo flounder. Got 2 very small pieces. Charged extra for additional salad dressing too. Wont be coming back.
We love City Kitchen but our experience last night was over the top! By far the best meal I’ve had all year. I love that they source their ingredients locally. Everything, especially the seafood, was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Awesome and unexpected flavors! And the service was top notch! Of course we finished everything off with the sticky toffee pudding, the most perfectly light and decadent dessert! Dining here is such a treat and we cannot wait to go back.
We had the Duck Bolognese for the first time and it was outstanding. Perfect portion size. Also the oysters somehow, and the goat cheese and beet salad. We usually always get the Sticky Toffee Pudding that Karen makes to share for dessert. During fall she makes a pumpkin dessert with nuts, caramel sauce, ice cream and whipped cream. It was almost like a soufflé. It did not disappoint. We have never had a dish that we didn’t like. We think City Kitchen is the best fine dining restaurant in Beaufort. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Have had both the Duck Bolognese and the Shrimp and Grits. Both were outstanding And the view!!! And the service !!! You won’t be disappointed
Knowledgeable staff, fast service, excellent food, superb views! Can’t say anything bad! Save room for Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert! Yum! 😋
I actually went to the Alexandria, VA, one...not listed on Facebook locations (maybe not on Google). The food, and service, was amazing. I would actually like to see a low-carb, or keto menu...but I made it work! The diet plan, I'm on, is #1 in the country! So even adding this location and adding an additional menu, would make this restaurant money! We loved the server, food runnerand the food...dispite a lil difficulty finding a dish, for me.
