Don’t move here, unless you like fighting homeless people in your hallways. If you’re a single guy who likes to drink, move here and hone your UFC skills for free. If you have a person you care about, move somewhere safer.

It took A LOT for me to write this. I held my tongue and accepted my circumstances to the best of anyone's ability. Avoid City House like you would COVID19. List of things I've witnessed or encountered in my 4 months of living here: 1.) Apartment filthy and in need of repair upon receiving keys. a. Flooring peeled off the ground. b. Heavy dirt/debris on walls, vents, ceiling fan. c. Baseboards damp with water (we'll get to that next). 2.) Washing machine broken - month 1 3.) Washing machine repair... broken - month 1 4.) Mic... read more

Horrible management! They don’t answer calls, emails and are extremely difficult to work with. I was happy with the management taking care of the property before current management. I have lost $1000 due to their non functional online permitting system for cars parked in the garage. Everyone I know is unhappy with current management ! Most people I know moved out after a year.

Wanted all of my friends to move into this complex so we could all hang but after the craziness that has gone down in the leasing office I told them no! It’s crazy that’s it’s been a revolving door for the past 3 ish months at the leasing office. Everyone is a temp and no one knows what they are doing. It doesn’t stop at the leasing office the maintenance guys have also been quitting too !which leads to my maintenance requests that haven’t been fixed in 2 months!!!

I was disappointed to see some of the reviews. I'm really happy at City House. We have a large 2 bedroom and it's quite spacious and has been well maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the building is pretty quiet. The location is fantastic - we are so close to everything downtown and walk everywhere.

PROS: The location is awesome! Close access to I-25 as well as all downtown events. Love that it's not too deep into the city and still pretty quiet given being near the train station. I'm in a 2BR, and there is a TON of space for storage in the closets and kitchen areas. Love my floor plan. CONS: There have been multiple issues with the parking garage (theft, garage doors breaking), but that all comes with the territory on living downtown.

I have lived in Alta for 2 months. I have had so many homeless issues, I don't feel safe as a single female on a ground level. They bathe in our pool, they sleep outside my courtyard unit, and they steal things off my patio. Security should be a top priority given the location and the price point we pay to live in the community. It is worth paying an extra few hundred dollars a month to live in a secure community. Alta has yet to hire security despite my several complaints and complaints of others, in addition to faulty door... read more
