An HVAC company (not City Home Comfort) referred by my insurance broker replaced my hot water tank and recommended and installed a Rinnai RX160iN tankless water heater, promising instant hot water. Instead, it took four times longer for hot water to reach the taps than with my previous tank, and my water pressure dropped significantly. I have been working with City Home Comfort for 4 years. This winter I had issues with my furnace, and called up Sean from CHC. As always the service was quick and professional. As for the outcome, nothing but a cleaning could'nt solve.
My boiler was making a rattling noise that would go on for a while and then stop. When the technician came the next day it had stopped. He was very knowledgeable about the system - which heats the floors with water - and checked the unit thoroughly. He had some hunches about root cause but suggested that since it was intermittent, I should take a video of it next time it was happening and send it to him, so he could hear it and have a better idea. I left positive reviews for City Home Comfort, and I regret it. In early spring of 2025, I had them replace a boiler installed in my rental property by another terrible company called Novelcare. After 5 years of constant breakdowns, usually on the coldest days, I contacted City Home Comfort because I saw very good reviews for them online.
