Started with this practice in Sept 2025 and was told there would be a patient portal coming out. Nearly 6 months later and no update on this! Receptionist are ATROCIOUS. Rude as hell, very poor reflection on the doctors here! If the patient portal doesn’t open soon I am moving away from this clinic! Doctors here need to start surveying how patients are being treated by receptionists and start FIRING them appropriately!
If this practice doesn’t find new receptionists and soon your practice is going to go under! Atrocious lack of care and professionalism. Receptionists here playing all kinds of games, pretending to not understand you even when you CLEARLY lay out the issue via email. Only when you threaten to report them do they suddenly seem to restart their brain cognition. I do not recommend Dr. Serena Lillian Mary Menezes at City Family Doctor Clinic / Sherbourne Station Medical Clinic (366 Bloor Street East). I became her patient in 2021. At first, I did not need to see her often, but once my husband and I started trying to conceive, I came to her several times asking for guidance, a plan, or basic investigation. Staff are competent for your first couple of visits and then become practically useless. Emails will go unanswered, calls ignored & appointment times are a suggestion that none of the employees will respect.
Nearly impossible to get an in person visit, or a response, and then you get scolded when you go to a walk in. I requested an appointment for blood work, and got a phone appointment on May 30th.. First thing Dr.Mascerenhas says is "why did you go to a walk in on March 2nd"? It was a Sunday, and I needed an in person appointment for an eye infection, you guys don't make it easy to get a hold of anyone, let alone an emergency visit.
