As a Type 1 diabetic I dread the dentist since the disease can wreak havoc on gums and teeth. The dental hygienist named Young totally impressed me at Lake Merritt Dental with her extensive knowledge of auto-immune factors to consider and the impact of vigilance and neglect at micro level. I have tried home care products over the past 7 years to whiten my teeth with poor results. Went to Lake Merritt Dental last April for whitening and was pleased with results. Returned this Nov. and 2nd treatment gave even better results and people noticed. I will definitely continue every 6 months. Great service and terrific employees
Just had filling work done on a difficult molar. Yet again Dr. Spunde performed the procedure in her reassuring and professional way. I am so happy with all the work she has done on my teeth over the past 8 years or so.
I'm so glad I found Lake Merritt Dental. And of all places, I found them on TangoMango.org - a calendar I consult weekly for Argentine Tango events. Who like going to the dentist right? Not me. I recently had an appointment at Lake Merritt Dental but was hesitant. Well, it turned out be be painless. I only waited few minutes in the waiting area, and once inside it was pleasant because the person who took care of me was pleasant and polite. She made me feel at eased. After it was done, we exchanged pleasantries, and that was it. Before I left I joked with the Office Manager and one of her assistants. Pleasant visit from beginning to end. I am coming back, for sure.
I don't like visits to the dentist, stemming from early childhood experiences. Dr. Hai Huang is a kind and gentle soul and she's surrounded by caring staff. I felt comfortable and well-cared for. She was clear on my dental problems and needs and considerate about financial costs. I recommend Lake Merritt Dental wholeheartedly.
I came to Lake Merritt Dental with a horrific tooth ache and a lot of anxiety. Rosa was incredible! She was so sweet, she fit me right in and the whole staff immediately took care of me. I ended up needing a root canal and LMD was able to open and medicate my tooth the next day to keep it safe until my insurance kicked in to pay for the root canal. I must admit that I am one of many the dislikes going to the dentist. My experience today at Lake Merritt dental has changed that. Everyone from start to finish were delightful . I didn't feel embarrassed by the condition of my unkept mouth because of their professional and kind demeanor. I am actually looking forward to my follow up appointment . Thank You Thank you!!
