City bistro has the best burgers in Hoboken. Incredible thin crust pizza and fantastic entrees. Don't forget brunch! Crunchy French toast is delicious and the only place around that has it!

We had a wonderful time in their private room on their second floor, where we dined. It has a very quaint and comfortable atmosphere. City bistro is a great Monday night spot They do a 50% off their entire menu and drinks. The atmosphere is nice, Jeff the bartender is great and always a great meal. Also great in the summer to hangout at the roof top bar
GOOD BRUNCH DEAL – went here sunday for brunch - $20 pre fixe, unlimited blood marys, bellinis and mimosas!! you have a wide selection of entrees, sandwiches, burgers and wraps. i got the steak and eggs, which was done just right and a decent amount of food for what you're paying. the best part is the unlimited liquor - our serve kept it coming without us having to ask. brunch goes until about 3pm but if your food order is in, you can sit and drink as long as you like. i definitely recommend this over hoboken's brass rail br... read more
Service ok, food ok, management HORRIBLE – Be careful here. The service is okay but the staff is completely overwhelmed b/c the co-owners have this annoying habit of screaming at their employees and firing them for trying to track down food that was ordered ages ago. Avoid Shady Staff! – In the 2 years since I've lived in Hoboken I've visited City Bistro numerous times. I was always a fan of their rooftop bar especially in the summer. However, now I will definitely never go back and I want to warn everyone who is a patron there to BE CAREFUL! I was there for dinner with a friend a few weeks ago and when I noticed the deduction from my bank account it appeared there was a discrepancy. Avoid if possible – Overpriced, poor service with mediocre food at best. You're better off with a number of other restaurant/bar on Washington instead. The service was poor and the foold took forever to come out and there were many preparation mistakes. Way overpriced for the qualifity. Try to avoid unless it's on someone else's pocket.
Great place – I have been several tims and find the staff very friendly especially FRank behind the bar. SOme times you wait and others you find the right time to be there food is great and the roof top bar outstanding on a summer night.....
