This post is not about the ambulance service worker but about there billing department. $6800. for a 25 tops ride to Eureka. I hope they pay and take care of there employees. I received no itemized bill just a letter tell me to contact my insurance. I contacted my insurance and they said they paid and I owe nothing. Called City Ambulance of Eureka, Inc. My experience with Eureka Ambulance was horrible. My husband was suffering incredibly from surgery on his back and neck. I could not control his pain from the surgery that he had had 4 days previously. We called 911 and were greeted by a medic named “Chew,” who said he was a fireman. This young man was totally obnoxious, would not listen, insisted my husband WALK to the front door. “Chew” claimed our hall was not wide enough to bring the stretcher in. You better hope you don't need to depend on this company to get you to a hospital quickly. We were stuck behind one of these ambulances driving well under the speed limit and refused to pull over in many of the available pull puts and let people who know to drive pass and arrive where they need to on time.

Extremely incompetent, loutish, and flat-out rude. Would not recommend unless its a life or death situation
