Citrus and Cane have reinvented themselves as a night club cocktail bar. It lacks the sultry and intimate experience of their old location. C&C may as well stand for cactus club to be honest. We tried the new location and compared to the old, we were disappointed as we had enjoyed it before. The drinks took far too long to get to our table, and it wasn’t just us, we looked around and people seated before us also didn’t have drinks after being seated for almost half an hour. Once we got them we did enjoy the drinks. We found some of the staff not very genuine at all and the atmosphere is not as unique and cozy as before either. Amazing atmosphere, delicious drinks and the service was perfect. Didn't try the food yet but the menu looked great! Tonight we went to visit the new location in trounce alley and holy crap! They did an AMAZING job transforming the space!!!! We remembered what establishment was there before and we were just blown away! It is gorgeous now! Drinks took a while to come, surprised they didn’t build a bigger bar in the new location! Only two bartenders so we waited 20 mins for our drinks (on a Wednesday night). The waitress seemed to know it would take a while since she asked if we wanted our drinks before our food… Food was just ok. Burrata resembled mozzarella more than burrata (not very soft). Loved the old location, will try again in a few months hopefully they can iron out the kinks.

First time here in the new location, great ambiance, great food (tapas style), and the drinks are pretty phenomenal. I don’t review often but when I do it’s because a place has deserved the pulling out of the phone from a pocket and typing. Worth every sip.
