fun margaritas and interesting fusion foods – The food here was really fun and interesting: spicey novel sushis, fun salads, and yummy tacos. We order a ton of margaritas in lots of fruit flavors and they were really fresh and fruity, like real fruit and fruit juices that were fresh, not frozen. Service was friendly and attentive. Love this place!
Rude and awful! – My sister and I came here on Friday for dinner and drinks. It wasn't fairly busy but we were told there had to be an $18 minimum per person food charge to sit outside and if we sat inside we would each have to order an entree. My sister wasn't that hungry but was going to order an appetizer. I was definitely going to rder an entree. But we definitely would have ordered more than $18 per person in drinks! Excellent for al fresco meals & drinks! – I've been here a couple times, once for brunch, once for afternoon drinks & appetizers. Had a great experience both times! I really like the menu selections, as well as the interesting & fresh Latin twists in the dishes/drinks. The food is very good, not mind blowingly so, but tasty nonetheless. Management and Service AWFUL – My friends and I stumbled upon what we thought was a nice place around 11pm on friday night. The manager was at the front door and said that the kitchen was still open. There were at least 10 tables available but they would not seat us. The manager said that we had to all be ordering an entree to sit down. Customer Service - F – Citrus - it was my favorite for so long, Sunday brunch - couldn't live without it... not any more. The place has gone down hill. Yummy – I was visiting the city from Nashville, and used citysearch to find somewhere to eat. I chose this place, because they seemed to offer a wide selection of flavors, between the sushi & the latin flavors. Overall it was a really good dining experience. My friend and I both ordered the Pomegranite-Ancho Chile glazed salmon, and we both substituted the mashed cauliflower for their sweet potatoes. THE WORST SERVICE EVER! – I went to Citrus to celebrate my friend's birthday for dinner. However, I ended up leaving this place with horrorible experience. A piece of an alumnium foil came out from my sushi roll that I had ordered. The manager did not even come to the table to apologize. In addition, the waitress charged my sushi roll when I got the bill. I had to send my check back to her and ask not to charge when there was somethine other than what menu describes in my sushi roll. Unique Taste – The food is a creative fusion of Latin American and Japanese flair, an interesting combination. The spicy tuna roll had banana in it as well, which made for a really unique taste that I at first had to get used to, but then LOVED. Everything was creatively seasoned and the added pizzazz of it really helped dress up a normal boring dish. I'll definitely go back.
