I first went to the Castro Valley branch for a credit card reconsideration, but they weren’t able to help me, not even trying. I then decided to visit this branch, where Ruben assisted me. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the process. I really appreciate his excellent customer service!!
Don’t bank here. Don’t open any type of account here. I made the mistake of opening a joint account along with my wife to deposit a joint tax return check. My account was blocked, my mobile banking stopped working. When you call the number on the back of your debit card the dumb call center people tell you they can’t disclose ANY information even after asking you a million verification questions including security words and ssn numbers. The absolute worse Citi bank location ever!! Long line , only one teller. It’s ridiculous! I’ve been in line for 47 minute!!!
Beware!! anytime you open an account with this company they will place extended holes on your checks. Put all kinds of fraud preventions on your account just simply because you opened the account. Deposited State checks and set up direct deposit for the state and still getting holds and ridiculous restrictions back to back. If you want to have actual access to your funds don't bank here.
