I just sold two properties through Citadel Realty and was very pleased with the outcome. Melanie's guidance was very valuable and it made the entire process easier. Her many years of experience were helpful in dealing with the finer points of the sales and she was able to sell both houses within a week's time. Her good relations with home maintenance contractors showed when one of the properties needed a new furnace installed just before the sale and the recommended contractor completed the installation the next day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Person who owns this realty company is a scam artist. We were grandfathered in by the previous owner and this one was a nightmare. Kept claiming all these costs for the house that we sold with no bills to explain these outrageous costs. She also tried to convince us to have sell our home to her at half the value and with payments!! Literally surprised it sold since whoever she contracted did shotty work at high expense!! They couldn't even cut the grass!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Norma ********

I gave him an offer based on the condition of the home. I also gave him a price if he did some work. He decided to do the minimum amount of work to get it ready to sell and asked us to get bids from vendors we use. We found citadel by accident when we moved from out of state -- and they've been such a great find! We've been here over two years now. They've never tried to enter when we were unaware, and they're always so polite and great about help with any issues we run into. We're hoping to find a house to buy soon, and since they provide that service as well we're looking forward to go through the process with a company and broker (Melanie********) we know and like and have worked with before.
Where do I start. First off I am a home owner too. I would not allow these unethical people to guard my house. If there was anything broken I replaced it. Example I called them and told them I broke the stove I bought a new one because that is what I would want my tenants to do in my house. If it was my fault I paid for it no questions asked. When a tenant moves out of a property there is a checklist of items that the tenant needs to complete. Two of those include a general cleaning and professional carpet cleaning. This particular tenant happened to live in a property who's owner owns a carpet cleaning company. Thus, he was charged for that homeowner to professionally clean the carpets. Started as a tenant and had a great experience. Any issues that popped up were addressed promptly. When it was time to purchase a home we turned to Melanie. She was fantastic to work with, never pushy, up front and honest about her opinion and always had our best interests in mind. Highly recommend citadel for renting or home buying!
If you value your sanity and money do not do ANY tyle of business with these people it is utter heartache. They will take you for every penny you have and then some. I am in the process of taking them to court as they not only took my entire 600 dollar deposit after move out...they are sayinf i still owe 2000 dollars....900 of it for carpet that i cleaned before i left. In realty what they did was remodel the uni and want me to foot the bill. This is for a small 2 bedroom apartment. They are sharks. Stay away.

We took over management of the property Rachel lived in on 2/22/17. She had moved her husband into the property after he got out of prison and he was not on the lease. She was asked to vacate the property at the end of the lease on 4/30/17. She chose to move out early and was not charged for the April rent even though she broke the lease. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I have had very little to do with them. They recently took over the building I live in from ****** Properties. Holly ****** had stolen a lot from the Owner but also us tenants lost our security deposits as well. This tenant had a lease from the previous mgmt company that stated that the tenant must pay for all utilities & trash & is not allowed to have any pets. The tenant was billed for past utilities & trash from December 2016-March 2017 per the lease. She refused to pay these bills & also snuck a cat into the unit. Her lease was up & she would not get rid of the cat. Thus, she was given a 45 day notice to vacate. She did not pay April rent & so a 3 day notice was posted on her door.
