These people suck on every possible level. They are willing to illegally charge you. They make frequent errors. Their staff are terrible and incompetent. If you run across a property manager named Trish - stay away. She is insufferable.

Say NO!! I bought into my complex 3 years ago and by a few months in - I was behind on HOA dues because he never reached to tell me how to pay. I had to ask another owner. 2 years in - there was never a Owner/Board meeting. I had to email aggressively to ask for one. (Yes, we were in pandemic BUT Zoom). The owner is unprofessional, his communication style makes him look incompetent, he's condescending if you're lucky enough to get a response from him and has zero clue how the property is managed. I recognize that a good manager delegates, but, as a past project manager myself, you meet with your team on a regular basis to have some idea how your team is managing what is ultimately your responsibility.
