I definitely would not trust them with my care. Rochelle is useless. Please do not try scheduling with this office as they will not return multiple voicemails (and say they never got them) and then send you a scheduled appointment through the mail. Is this 1985? I ended up having to get a different referral to another specialist because I'd never heard back. I called to cancel on 9/30 for my 10/21 appointment that I'm just now finding out about through the mail as I can be seen sooner elsewhere and Rochelle, the lazy, disorg... read more
Dr Lai is fabulous!! He did extensive testing and looked for any and all causes for my problem. He went above and beyond! Thank you Dr Lai!!
The doctor is very nice and knowledgeable however the wait is terribly long. Plan for hours in the waiting room. The lady who handles check ins and insurance is extremely rude. She has been unfriendly several times in person but very unprofessional on the phone with trying to deal with an insurance billing issue. I experienced a change in insurance between my appointments. Dr. Lai is an excellent neuro-ophthalmologist. I refer all of my neuro ophthalmological patients to him and he is very thorough and complete in his care. Highly recommend him.
I have no idea how the doctor is but after half a dozen calls with the front desk and almost two months since my original referral I guess I never will. Their voicemail says not to call them back because they only have one phone person. I recommend not calling them at all. Referral originally in May. They never called to say they were missing information. My first voicemail was never returned. Waited a week to call back and told they never got the voicemail.
