Get Your Money's Worth I enjoy this theater because where else can you get into a movie for just a buck? Often it is crowded because of the local college crowd so you need to purchase you tickets well ahead of time. Overall the theater is average- you are paying a dollar, so what can you expect? Bathrooms are very dirty and the theater it self could use renovation. But the theaters have big screens and I have never been unable to see in any seat.
You can't be $1 movie This is so much cheaper, and way more fun than renting a DVD! This place is great! Granted, nothing is super nice or fancy...so if that's what you're looking for, don't go here. But if you're looking for movies that JUST came out of regular theaters, and don't mind crowds and an old theater, this is the place to be.
Best Dollar Movies in Salt Lake City Where else can you watch a new release for only $1? The theaters are spectacular, the sound is good, the food is average, but the ticket price is astounding! Be careful to buy your tickets early on the weekends as teenage and college crowds tend to buy out showings rather quickly!
best college town theater ever. I grew up in the shadow of University of Kentucky. A school a good bit bigger than BYU, which you would think would warrant a decent dollar theater. but no, this one is infinitely better than anything we have here in KY. cheap tickets, great movies, and nice theaters. On top of that, you are almost guaranteed to see someone you know everytime you go. oh, and the best part... $0.75 tuesdays!!!!
Fabulous concept in college town Any movie theater that shows movies for 1.50, and .50 on Tuesdays, is great. Especially for students in a college town. Never mind the sticky floors and inability to see over people's heads in the theater - you get what you pay for and that is a great thing at 1.50. It was great to go with groups - something you can actually do since even if certain people don't want to see it, they will for that price.
cheap movies We go to this place all the time! only $1 with student IDs after 6PM, or $1.5 without a student ID. Tickets before 6PM are $1 for everyone. I consider this as a very great deal!
Good movies for cheap. Well it's hard to beat the prices at this theater. Movies cost just over a dollar and the atmosphere is nice. The movies may be a few months old but for these prices it is worth the wait. Be sure to get tickets early because this is a popular place for college students to go. The theaters are usually clean too. The theater has good sound for one with ticket prices this low.
$1 Movies - You Can't Go Wrong! This is a perfect place for a cheap date, or to catch up with all your new releases that aren't so new release but not at Blockbuster yet. There are 8 theaters usually showing fresh off the main theater selections, and they are reasonably priced at $1 for matinee, $1.50 for evening, but $1 if you show your student ID.
Inexpensive 2nd Run Movies Here Waaaaayyy less than renting a DVD for you and a date and not too far behind on the new releases Movies 8 is a great place for budget-minded movie goers. This used to be our favorite place to catch up on flicks we have wanted to see, but it is starting to become overrun with obnoxious high schoolers without any manners.
