hey its only a buck At movies 8 you get way more than you pay for. All you have to do is wait a liitle while for that popular movie get there and then you get a clean theatre and a good movie for only a dollar, when you show a student ID
Fabulous concept in college town Any movie theater that shows movies for 1.50, and .50 on Tuesdays, is great. Especially for students in a college town. Never mind the sticky floors and inability to see over people's heads in the theater - you get what you pay for and that is a great thing at 1.50. It was great to go with groups - something you can actually do since even if certain people don't want to see it, they will for that price.
A cheap place to see a movie, nothing more. Movies 8 is dirt cheap. Every movie is a little over $1. The movies that come to this theater have been out for quite some time. The theater is just filthy all of the time. And unless you go early and wait in line, you can't even get tickets. Skip this theater and pay a little more $$ for something a little nicer.
$1 Movies - You Can't Go Wrong! This is a perfect place for a cheap date, or to catch up with all your new releases that aren't so new release but not at Blockbuster yet. There are 8 theaters usually showing fresh off the main theater selections, and they are reasonably priced at $1 for matinee, $1.50 for evening, but $1 if you show your student ID.
Good movies for cheap. Well it's hard to beat the prices at this theater. Movies cost just over a dollar and the atmosphere is nice. The movies may be a few months old but for these prices it is worth the wait. Be sure to get tickets early because this is a popular place for college students to go. The theaters are usually clean too. The theater has good sound for one with ticket prices this low.
You can't be $1 movie This is so much cheaper, and way more fun than renting a DVD! This place is great! Granted, nothing is super nice or fancy...so if that's what you're looking for, don't go here. But if you're looking for movies that JUST came out of regular theaters, and don't mind crowds and an old theater, this is the place to be.
Students enjoy! The best thing about Movies 8 is that if you provide proff of studenship you only have to pay $1.00!!! This is a great place to hang out with friends when you are on a budget. The place is clean and the seats are relativly comfortable.
Awesome Dollar Theater!!!! There are no dollar theaters in Michigan where I live, so I thought that this was awesome!! Going to see movies in a theater setting for just a dollar!! On some days, like Monday and Tuesday they had specials where you could get in for only 50 or 25 cents!! The theaters are great! Although you have to wait a long time for the movies to get there, you can't beat the price!!
Weekly Attendee I have been a fan of this theater for years and the quality of it has only gotten better. It's so cheap to go there, you can't beat it!
