RecommendedCincinnati Children’s is nothing short of amazing. The doctors, nurses and staff were all wonderful in our stay. My son received the best care and am so thankful to have the best hospital in the nation nearby.
Dr. Gilbert should be investigated for medical malpractice. He refuses to treat or even test for PANDAS. Of course, he doesn’t disclose he received financial support from a pharmaceutical company manufacturing medication for tics. Tics are a main symptom of PANDAS, treatable with inexpensive antibiotics. Motive for his refusal to “do no harm”? I think so.
We had a horrible experience in the lab department! We were referred there from our pediatrician because my daughter possibly had a uti. They needed to catheter her to get a urine sample, since she was an infant. The first nurse couldn’t get urine from her because she wasn’t even in the correct place to get urine from. Then the other two nurses came down and they were not compassionate at all with my daughter and were like “ is this even the right place to put the catheter”. Yeah that’s not reassuring! RecommendedTook my grandson there after he got hold of someone's medicine .They took excellent care of him there and then transported him to CHILDREN'S IN Cincinnati for further care and treatment. He still goes there for check ups .They have the best Doctor's and Nursing Staff. This is a blessing for all of us living in this area .God Bless them all !!

The nurses and other staff were so nice. We live in Ky and stayed inpatient so my son could have a 24 hour EEG and everyone we met that worked there were so nice to us.
