Yesterday my daughter had to get a blood draw. The main person who helped us was a man named John. I am very thankful to him for how he talked mostly to her about what was going to happen and let her be a part of it. My daughter is only 2 years old and has always cried around needles. I truly believe because of how John handled the situation he helped her to be brave. She didn't cry once and was very fascinated by the whole experience. The staff and doctors were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure my 7 year old was comfortable and to calm her fears. An emergency room visit is always scary and sometimes over whelming. The staff did everything they could to make it easy.
Everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. After my babies surgery he had his own personal nurse in the recovery room, she treated him as her own baby... Hugging and snuggling him! It melted my heart!
Took my 10 month daughter in for a fever of 102.2. They said oh it's a viral infection but turns out she had a bladder infection after they discharged us saying her culture came back good no bladder infection, two days later childrens call saying she had a bladder infection. Just very upsetting that the doctor NEVER came back into the room for test results the nurse with the discharge papers said the urine culture was good, it's just a viral infection and sent us out the door!
