Excellent bike tour with fantastic guides. The entire trip was well planned and each day was better than the day before. I thoroughly enjoyed the routes, the food and the wine. I felt that everyone in our group was also very happy with Ciclismo. Marcello was the highest level guide - knowledgeable, helpful, great on the bikes and on the land and funny too. Sandro was also great and very enthusiastic with our group at all times. I highly recommend this Ciclismo Classico tour - Bike Across Italy. Tom M.
In 2018 I went on the Heart of Tuscany tour with my wife. It was INCREDIBLE! I still talk about it today. I work in tourism and fortunate to have been on many amazing tours, and this was one of the best. What I loved about this one was threefold: Guides are world class. They actually cared about us and worked hard for us to have the time of our lives. They were from Italy and knew the area and these rides intimately - not just a summer job. Wonderful guides, with interesting daily routes thru Etruscan, Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance towns. Delicious food, pared with wine and olive oil tasting. After 400 miles and 36,000 ft of climbing all six guests had glowing smiles and fond memories. By the way, even though Massimo is a great 5 STAR guide….Sheila is just a little bit better . I've done a number of trips with them now in Italy. Though I should probably go on new adventures, I have to say that I want to do all of them over again. The guides know their motherland, restaurants, and routes. It's a great experience I plan on exploring every year.
Went on the Mediterranean Island Hopping tour in May / June 2025 which over 12 days / 11 nights took us through Corsica and Sardinian and it was an amazing and wonderful trip. The scenery of both Islands with the azure blues of the Mediterranean made for a visually stunning adventure. The daily bike routes provided nice distances and if you wanted a break the van was there for support.
