Writing on behalf of my mother Dr. Ciaccia was arrogant, rude, and condescending. He did not listen re: my mother's individual health needs and was insisting on treatment options that would cause additional issues due to her severe allergies to medications. Not impressed with a surgeon who can only push medications.

I broke my left wrist and Dr Scott Ciaccia had a X-ray done then informed me about my options. I could have a cast or I could let him do surgery on my wrist. He told me with surgery my wrist would be set accurately and in most cases heals faster, but it was my choice. I decided to have the surgery and have not regretted it. Dr. Ciaccia performed a CMC arthroplasty on my right hand in March 2021. Dr. Ciaccia was extremely kind, understanding, and professional from the initial consult through therapy and beyond. Dr. Ciaccia patiently listened to all of my concerns and answered my many questions including calming my fears the day of surgery. The surgery went seamlessly and recovery is progressing exactly as he had indicated. I highly recommend Dr. Ciaccia for all of your orthopedic hand surgery needs.
I fell and broke my hip in January. I was so lucky to have Dr. Scott Ciaccia as my surgeon to fix my hip. He is the best in my book! I have an outstanding result just 3 months out!
I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Ciaccia. He did surgery on my left hand when I cut myself through to the bone. In July of 2020, I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I did not hesitate once knowing I was in his care. He makes you feel special and explained everything well.
Just had both hands carpal tunnel surgery in Lorain mercy for right and St John's Westlake for the left. Both northern Ohio and could not say enough good things about Dr Ciaccia and his whole operation. From receptionists to PA, MA, and nurses I was treated with compassion and was truly impressed by both the thoughtful diagnosis and thorough explanation of what needed to be done and the outcomes and what I could expect.
