Went in for one thing and gave me a price. Next thing you know, I come back and they changed MULTIPLE parts which I DID NOT ASK FOR. I left paying WAY MORE than I was told I was actually going to pay. When confronting the guy, I had asked to remove what he had altered, but he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and LEFT. I've been dealing with ted for 34 years. He does dealer quality work, for less than dealer prices You pay for what you get. You can go, and get a cheaper price, but through my experiences, it's not worth it. He lets you know what your problems are, and what'll cost up front I will continue to deal with him, and bring all my vehicles to him.
I had to have some work done to pass a smog test on a just purchased used Cadillac. I was referred by some very good friends. I read reviews nonetheless. The folks that complained about Chung's were met with an insightful rebuttal. I love clarity. Ted is clear if nothing else. Car repair, the time and the cost associated with it are not pleasant. Sometimes, Ted is not pleasant. That said, he helped me meet my objectives and improved the quality of my vehicle.
I too, have only had good experiences when I've take in my stuff to him. 🙂He actually moved from one location to another. And I followed him when I need him🛻. In one case I had a Toyota tundra that had a check engine like that. Everybody left or could not diagnose. I left it with him when I came to pick it up.
