Best Rocking Blues Band I've seen Live – Chuggin Monkey has the best bands, But this particular band "The Mizzbehavin Band" was Amazing!! The lead singer had some pipes!! I felt like I was at a Vegas Show lotta fun. Bar staff was Awesome & The chicks in this joint was some of the most gorgeous woman In Tx. I was also surprised to see an older crowd on a Thurs. nite. I will definitely bring some folks on the next run. Chuggin Monkey Rocks!!

Always Fun – Great place i always come here whenever I am in Austin and there is always a definite fun time whenever I come here. The drinks are average and there are nice people..
my husband and i and our friend started our night there on mardi gras we had 3 beers and 3 vegas bombs, somehow that added up to $34 but ok we paid our tab and left...a week later when the payment clears the bank i found out they gave themselves a $10 tip, i watched my husband put a zero in the tip line and draw a line threw it , how did they get a 10 out of that i dont know but i will never go there again they think their slick stealing from drunk people and they wont remember, too bad we werent drunk!!!! dumn asses
first want to say that I've been coming to this bar for years and I have never had a problem with the staff/manager. This is one of the most customer friendly bars I've even been to. If you're looking for a good time, good drinks, and great customer service well then the Chuggin Monkey is the place to go. The staff and manager rock.

Horrible Bar Manager!!!!! – Went to this place because nothing much was open. We found that the manager had a attitude issue that needed to be resolved with the organization in the bar area. After attempting to be nice, (in order to not hurt anyones feelings) we found that the Bar amanger(guy with brown hair and a beard/stauche) was really inappropriate. Clay Jeffrey and his cowbells!! – You HAVE to go to this place on a Friday night to see a band called Clay Jeffrey! This guy is really good and his show is fun! He had girls onstage with cowbells...it was sooo funny! i loved this place...the bartender is really cute too!
BEST JAGER BOMBS AND MUSIC! – I had such a wonderful time at the Chuggin' Monkey! There were 3 hot girl bartenders who were so cool to me. As a woman, other ladies aren't always nice, but they showed me a great time! The live band was awesome and afterwards the music was great. They play a variety of music from micheal jackson to new hip hop and rock n roll. Not to mention, the jager bombs are the best on the street! Overall: great staff, great service, great music!
