We went last night with my boyfriend's boss for dinner. The food was very good and I'm a vegetarian. The salad bar was plenty and clean. I love how they have sand sanitizer at both ends of the salad bar. Our waitress was very accomodating and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back next time I visit Danbury!
i used to go to the Chucks in west haven for 20 plus years ,it kinda went down hill in the end but ill tell you this one brought all the great times and great food that i remember . i will go back for sure . GREAT SERVICE GREAT FOOD
We just had our annual party for my mother-in-law's birthday and they were very accommodating, as always. Very good service. Fine steaks (though one order was overcooked), excellent fish, and tasty apps and sides (love the onion rings). The salad bar is always excellent. Personally, I recommend the rib eye and prime rib over the sirloin and NY strip, both of which are a bit too lean for my taste.
I frequent Chucks Steak House , since around 1974 and the food is always the best and the Salad Bar is superb , my favorite part of any meal. The Management and service is the Best. Happy Holidays to All. Maria Leonor Garofalo
Great EXCEPT that there was a loud party of about 20+people there with children who proceeded to run through out the place bang feet on the platform floor. When we mentioned this to the manager and how at times we could not hear each other at our table because of the noise he basically shrugged his shoulders and told us there was nothing he could do about it. But the food was good...
Steak ordered medium well twice? Every time stake cane to the table as rare. Stopped asked every time came as rare took a check and left!
