Worst steak we've ever had, ended up bringing a good portion of each steak home for the dog because it was so stringy amd chewy. You'd think the potatoes were made of gold for how little fries you get. Only good part was we had a Ceasar with dinner which was really good. 3 times we've tried Chucks 1st times was ok, second was in Lindsay, Steaks weren't cooked right and had cold baked potatoes. And this 3rd time not a good experience either.
Chuck’s in Peterborough is a pretty relaxed place to grab a bite. The food is fine,nothing that jumps out, but it’s consistent enough. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, which makes it easy to feel comfortable, though it doesn’t really have anything that makes it memorable. Service is okay, friendly enough without being overly attentive. It’s a decent spot if you want somewhere low-key to eat, but not necessarily somewhere you’d plan a special visit for.
Terrible experience. Dirty table. Took an hour to get food after ordering. Cold food. Couldnt even find anyone to pay the bill and get out of there.
Claire was and always and was again a phenomenal server. Always makes our dinners better!!
