If they tell you your part is there to come pick it up it will be ready.. Hm DON'T COUNT ON IT! On top of the rude Un professional service they are not accurate at all with time and price. They don't care about your time. It's all about what easiest for them.
I called them and asked if I could pick my part up the next day and was told it would not be a problem. I was quoted a price. The following day when I went to pick up my part the price had gone up and they didn't have my part ready and was told I would have to come back the next day because they didn't have the manpower to pull it. Not a shabby place. I've been a couple of times and they've got a ton (like, literally hundreds--maybe thousands) of cars ranging from Jeeps to Civics. You go out there and pick out your own stuff or you can have them get it for you (I recommend picking it yourself--much more fun and you save yourself some $$). The guys there tend to treat you like you're an idiot and are often condescending, but I cut them some slack; as I am sure they have to put up with some interesting folk on a daily basis. I called Chuck & Eddie's to ask the sales person for a price for used left Cladding for my Honda Element (plastic panel on the rear quater panel). The sales man gave a quote of $375. When I asked him why the price quote is so high he stated that they need to pull the cladd out of the car. I stated that it took me less then 20 minutes to remove my damaged cladd and the the Honda dealer quoted me only $103.00 for a brand new cladd. He fell silent and was probably trying to come out with some king of an excuse. That's when ... read more
