Nice restaurant for Duncanville. Friendly host and hostess. However, not all the wait staff are the best. Look for those who really care about the customer's orders and really try to get it right the first time and get it to the table hot and presented nicely. Some of the best are Angie, Bobbie, Christina, Gloria, Heather, and Kelly. I have had bad experience with some of the others. I ordered a steak cooked medium well. We were thrilled to see Chubby's opening up in Duncanville. However, our first two trips were less than enjoyable. The host, of a newly opened restaurant, never spoke when we came in or paid our bill. He just nodded and pointed to a booth. One or our orders was wrong the first time and when we told the waitress, she just looked at us and turned around and walked off. Nothing was done. MY HUSBAND AND I WENT THERE LAST NIGHT. HE HAD THE TEXAS SIZE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK, I HAD THE DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER WITH BACON, NO ONIONS AND FRENCH FRIES. SHE BRINGS OUT HIS AND MY MEAL. MY MEAL ENDS UP BEING A DOUBLE BURGER WITH BACON AND ONIONS AND NO FRIES. SO THEN I ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN SEEM TO CARE.
