Our air conditioning is not working and CHT does not respond to maintenance requests. When we called them they said that this wasn't a priority.
Bad service and the apartment looks old and dirty when I was moving in and I had noticed them but they decide that everything will be charged on me. The way they deal with this is so childish, they decide to write a letter along the mail saying shxt to me, what a nice thing to do to your residence. I'm glad that I moved out. Please keep away from this place.
I hesitated to make this poor review because I don’t need more people to know CHT doesn’t tow, but I’m at my limit and every single day there is someone illegally parked in my lot anyway so what difference does it make. Parking is $200/month and it’s not enforced. Ever. The only thing I’ve learned is I’d get the same spot if I shelled out the $600 every 3 months or if I didn’t. Would recommend 505 N Carroll! Great spot for senior year with your friends. Very spacious apartment with a renovated kitchen and unique layout. We had no issues throughout the year, it was easy to put in maintenance requests, and CHT kept us updated and communicated well!
Initially, the staff was incredibly helpful, and although it was a small space to live in, it seemed well taken care of for an old building. However, I had the unfortunate circumstance of being helped by the same older gentleman with each of my issues and he was absolutely horrible. On move-in day, my tiny apartment was filled with furniture from the last tenant, no one would pick up their phone so I had to go into the leasing office and the older gentleman told me, “sounds like a you problem.” After this incident, I kept de... read more
