Honestly I hated a lot about my time at Chrysalis, but I am a better, healthier, and happier person for it. Even now, the people I met there (teachers, students, staff, and especially my therapist) are some of the most understanding and supportive people I know. They took the time to understand why I was acting a certain way and to push me to become better. Also I learnt to snowboard at Chrysalis, something that still brings me a lot of joy. If you’re there now, best of luck, you’ll be glad for it later in life.
I went here through june-december 2025. I am writing this review as a past client at Chrysalis. In late June, I was dropped of in Montana by my father. I was struggling with self harm, eating disorders, substance use, trauma related issues, and violence. I had recently tried to take my life. I was in and out of institutions, and was having horrible outbursts and depressive episodes. I must speak out about this school for anyone looking to send your daughter here. We sent my daughter here for one year to finish her high school education. Obviously anyone considering this is going through a rough time and are trying to navigate extremely precarious waters; I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s really hard.
