I came in for a blowout and was very clear about the voluminous look I wanted—something I’ve had done at other salons with no issue. Instead, the stylist used a flat iron to give me crimp-like curls that didn’t hold and fell flat within hours, with straight ends that looked unfinished. I recently discovered Chroma via instagram, and i have to say it’s the best salon i’ve been to in ages! Giada & Jairo worked their magic and i ended up with the most beautiful blended highlights toned perfectly to match my skin tone, and the best haircut i’ve had in years. She carefully walked me through the whole process from start to finish without skipping a step. This was left for my partner Katie who came in today. Worst haircut and experience of her life. I’d rather not go into further detail, but it’s unsalvageable and only time can fix it. She guesses 6+ months for it to grow back enough to be fixed. Matthew was amazing for years so this was disappointing to say the least.

I did not have a great experience. My cut and colour were so disappointing. I felt my stylist did not listen to me. You did my hair. I will call the salon later today. Vita did my hair. I waited a few weeks before I commented to see if I liked. I did not.
