DR CAROTHERS is most understanding, patient and explains everything to where I have understood my whole journey from just plain pain to surgery.
My initial visit at Christus St Vincent Orthopedic Specialists greatly exceeded my expectations. Checking in for my appointment was quick, efficient with a very friendly yet professional receptionist. My wait was 5 minutes and I was taken to my room. The nursing team, radiology worked together fluidly and the radiologist kindly made me a CD of my x-rays! Dr Carothers replaced both hips in the past without any complications in Albuquerque. Dr. Samuel McArthur did a triple ankle fracture ORIF on my broken ankle August 12th, ten days after breaking it. He was amazing and all my follow up x-rays show it was aligned perfectly now. Just started rehab today and no pain with boot and walker. Have taken it easy for two months as advised, but now it’s time to rehab! Bless you Doc! Thank goodness I broke it in Santa Fe!
I would say this is an efficient and well run office. It’s a breath of fresh air since moving to New Mexico 11 years ago it’s been very frustrating to get appropriate medical care. I appreciate the excellent care over the past several months while scheduling and receiving a total knee replacement. Dr Sterrenberg provided the best possible treatment and minimal scarring. His staff has been diligent with pain management. I can’t imagine how this could have been handled any better.
