Never had any issues with doctors or staff, always helpful.
Only because of one bad apple that told me patients seek pain meds. I just had a total knee replacement by the way!! Doctor prescribed me Motrin which was insane but thankfully I had a great nurse that talked to another doctor about how much pain I was in.
The care and love I felt while a patient at Christus Highland was absolutely overwhelming!! I felt included in my wellness plan and like I actually mattered. I have a deep respect for anyone in the healthcare profession. My health issues are a bit complicated and I was told I was a mystery by two doctors. Christus helped get me back on my feet again! I didn't have a ride home and they arranged for a taxi to take me home!! The third floor nurses, CNA's, and any other titles I'm forgetting are AMAZING!! Thank you all!!
Some of the nursing staff is horrible!!! They could care less of pain or health at this hospital. My blood pressure had to spike twice before I could even get my medication for the evening. I asked the RN about the medication she told me they don’t go out until 9pm regardless of you being in pain. I never received medication until 10:30 pm. Now I’m asking again at 5:30am and no one is responding just saying okay and I’ve called 3 times still here suffering!!! I will never ever come to this hospital again.
