I've been coming here for 3 years because is conveniently close to my home, I've never had any issues with any of the staff until today. The receptionist was very rude and condescending for not having a VA card. As a retired veteran, all we ever needed in the past was our DoD ID, or our Texas Driver's license which say veteran on it. I was trying to explain to her how even the own VA doesn't require us to have a VA card because we are retirees and she was very demeaning saying "I've meet other veterans that have it". I went in there very sick and the doctor came in and asked how I was doing and I said “good, or at least I hope” and he said “well you look fine to me” no tests were run and nothing was done. He prescribed me allergy medicine! Talk about professional opinion!
First thing the nurse practitioner told us that he was only in the room fast because he was getting off at 5pm. Looked at my husband's leg and told us he couldn't do anything for him as he was already on antibiotics. He stated that it would take 36 hours for the antibiotics would start working. My husband had been taking them 4 days at the time. He said all he could do is draw a line around it and if it got worse go to the Emergency Room. Only one doctor to take care of whoever walks in, guy takes care of about 4-5 rooms at the same time, only listens to you for like a minute, he clearly doesn’t pay much attention to patients you can tell he’s rushing things all along.
