I brought my husband in for open heart surgery that was scheduled three weeks in advamce. We completed all the pre-op requirements and confirmed surgery date and time the week prior. Arrived on surgery day at the scheduled time, only to find out he had been rescheduled for the afternoon. What? No phone call or anything. No one knows why he has been rescheduled because his surgeon is at the hospital. Dr James wilson in the emergency department is going to get them sued. He possesses the absolute worst bedside manner and I feel he very discriminatory towards patients with limited financial means. I take the star back.

So my husband was in there for 8 days now. Of these 8 days, I had to change his sheets, give him baths, the nurses would bring me supplies to bandage up his staples in his back. The nurses did not document his bm for 5 days so they did an exray of his abdomin. Wasted insurance money and our money for unnecessary exams. Had him on a cardiac diet, which we asked repeatedly why he was on one and never got an answer.
