We had a disappointing experience with Dr. Christopher Stees that I feel compelled to share. Communication was severely lacking throughout the entire process. Your office staff could use a bit of education. 1) If you are going to complete procedures, make sure your staff is knowledgeable about potential complications and triaging. 2) Teach your medical assistants to give people some grace and compassion. I have memory issues due to neurological diseases and a stroke and got snipped at today because I didn't remember the doctor's schedule after she rattled it off. I had wolff Parkinson’s white, at 19 The procedure went from 30 minutes to 2 hours because I had 6 extra pathways instead of 2 extra like they expected. After I still showed signs of heart issues and he took me very seriously.. which I don’t receive that care from anyone else because of my age. He helped me play process of elemination ( I am also hypoglycemic and my primary refused to listen to me about symptoms) I hated his assistant who said I was just feeling reflux.. like yeah man that’s why I had a big procedure right? ... read more
Dr. Stees and his staff worked me in during lunch so that my suddenly-worsening condition could be evaluated right away. Dr. Stees listened to my symptoms and then asked questions about symptoms I didn't realize were of concern. The staff got me scheduled for follow-up testing and, when no follow-up appointments were found to be available, got authorization for a phone appointment to discuss next steps. Though still anxious about my heart health, I know I'm in the best possible hands.
