I don’t know where to begin with UCLA Health. Firstly, at least in my experience, you have to contact them a handful of times in order to reach someone who will actually schedule an appointment for you. They have these Request an Appointment forms on their website, but I’ve filled them out many times and I’ve never heard back from any of them. Dr. Saigal is extremely competent and experienced, one of the best urologists in the world. When I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2016, the first doctor X I saw told me after reviewing all my MRI images that I was in a later cancer stage and that I would have about 8 years of life left. He suggested I start with chemo therapy before surgery. I went to Dr. Saigal for second opinion. I have great respect and appreciation for Dr. Saigal. He is knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. He treated me for early stage bladder cancer in 2020, and I have seen him annually for follow-up. He is an excellent doctor.
Having seen Dr. Saigal multiple times, I’ve come to a fairly easy conclusion that he is unprofessional, has poor communication skills and is always in a hurry. As a woman, I don’t feel comfortable being around him.
