Messitt was the first primary care doctor I’ve had who refused my request for common blood labs, such as testosterone. Having a chronic illness can impair hormone levels, and it should be a no-brainer to check testosterone every one or two years, but Messitt said no because I had already been tested two years prior. Horrible bed side manor. Didn't care about adverse reactions and his NP At the time, Angel was no better. I called crying and was "let go" as a patient due to "threatening, irratical behavior bc he stopped prescribing 3 controls at once which led to hospitalization...disgusting behavior as a "Doctor..."

If I could add zero, I would. He seemed super nice and knowledgeable. He then proceeded to ignore serious symptoms I had and tell me I had “allergies and a migraine.” I ended up having multiple brain surgeries and having permanent eye damage that would have been prevented had he done his job. He is arrogant and rude. I’d rather see a back alley doctor than him and I wouldn’t trust him to treat my dog. Beware.

I have always had a great relationship with Dr Messitt. Whenever I have to see him for any problem he always gives me his full attention. Listens to my problem and gives me a complete explanation as to what his recommendation would be. I like the fact, that not like some doctors, he never in a rush
