Told me I needed a knee replacement, nothing more he could do for me. That was over a year ago. I got a second opinion and still am not anywhere needing a knee replacement.
I have been treated by Dr. Kavolus for arthritis of the knees including cortisone and gel shots and referrals to PT. He is compassionate and listens well. He performed full knee replacement surgery on my right knee last year. I have been very pleased with the outcome including the minimal scarring.
Two knee replacements and could not ask for better care.
I had total knee replacement 18 years ago on my right knee and 14 years ago on my left knee by Dr. Kavolus and they are both still fantastic. He was also professional and explained everything going on. If I have to ever have it again he will be my doctor. He and his staff are awesome!
Dr kavolus did my total knee surgery on left knee 2 years ago. Now Im setting yup appointment for him to do my right knee. He is a great surgeon. I would not let any one else do my surgery.
I highly recommend that everyone seeing Dr. Kavolus run in another direction as fast as you can. He did my knee replacement 1 year ago and now refuses to ever see me again. MY Knee is now worse than before surgery. Why! because he chooses to use Stryker replacement parts which the FDA took approval away from that company 3 years ago. How do I know this, because I went to the hospital and got my operating room report and it says that is what he used. Is this the kind of doctor you want?
