5 years ago I was running and felt a sharp pain in my hip. It was the beginning of the end of the cartilage in that hip. In the past 5 years, I tried everything. I just had a total knee replacement on 9/11. Compared to the one I had in 2013 this one was a breeze. The ONLY post-Op problem I had was getting pain relief for Sciatic Nerve Pain in my back. With the back pain treated the knee pain has been so minimal I was able to put weight on it when I first got out of bed for Physical Therapy. Prior to Surgery Dr.Bernbeck ordered extensive Physical Therapy for my back. I’m convinced it helped to keep things in much better condition to deal with the leg. Be careful. I had a rotator cuff repair about 3 years ago and Dr. Woodson was my Ortho Dr. I am now post 3 surgeries later---most recently a Shoulder replacement. I went to UCI to get my Shoulder Surgery after I learned that I should have had that first and before this Dr. broke my clavicle. The Due Diligence required of all physicians was not as present as it should have been in working with this Dr.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Woodson and his team. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and always responsive, making it easy to book appointments and get the care I needed. Dr. Woodson’s expertise in my Achilles surgery was exceptional. Now, two years post-surgery, my Achilles has healed beautifully, and it feels absolutely great. I’m able to hike and stay active without any issues. I’m super thankful for him in and highly recommend Dr. Woodson for anyone needing orthopedic care!
