I have been to a few chiropractors that are like salesmen, even holding "interviews" for a job to get people in the door to then do a consultation. Also, some offer weight loss pills, vitamins, etc and I just started to think it was bogus. Dr. Howson changed my mind completely!! He does what needs to be down, it's not harsh on the body, and he doesn't pressure you to make 3 appts a week for the next year. Every single time that I go, I leave feeling so much better! Dr. Howson did seem like a decent person and doctor, but to be honest this review is more about the horrible billing practices. In my experiences Altru cares very little about the people treated at their facility, and more about how much they can make from each their treatment! Initial visit bill was $500 for a 10 minute consultation/treatment!!! I have gone to other chiropractic offices where the initial consultation is free!! I will not be going back simply because of their predatorial billing practices!
