Dr Hajnik did a full replacement my left knee about 10 months ago and I'm very satisfied with the results. I was playing pickle ball after just 2 months. I am pain free now other than a little pinch walking down stairs but that will likely get better after a bit more therapy.
I had a bad experience at Core Orthopedic, in Encinitas, on Thursday, June 1st. I saw Dr. Christopher Hajnik, for my right hip. Dr. Hajnik did both of my wife’s knees, my brother-in-law‘s, and my right knee! They had no pain, must run in the genes. I had lots pain afterward! But I think that’s more common than having no pain from everyone I’ve talked to about knee replacements.
Dr Hajnik was patient and listened, answered all questions, allowed review of X-rays and explained reasons for procedures.
Dr. Hajnik accurately pinpointed the reason for my left side upper leg and hip chronic pain. He recommended hip replacement surgery. I scheduled three months in advance. The procedure was very quick and without pain and I was back at home the same evening. I was given pain medication but never used it. I was walking the next day and recovered quickly following instructions. Dr. Hajnik is excellent, very knowledgeable, competent. He did a left hip revision, and right hip anterior replacement. I have had very good success.
Dr Hajnik did my hip replacement and I could not be more pleased with him and his staff. The surgery and recovery went quicker than I expected. Before and after surgery they were there for me.
Dr Hajnik performed both right and left total knee replacements on me within the span of 8.5 weeks and my recovery was remarkable! I had been in pain for the last four years and the morning of the first surgery when I got up to walk I was amazed at my flexibility and ease of movement.
