This man unfortunately did my TMJ surgery many years ago. He was rude, arrogant and rough. After surgery, I was in severe pain and my teeth were out of position. I knew something was very wrong and when I voiced my concerns he told me that it was all in my head. I went on to other doctors for second opinions and when Chris Brown found out, he proceeded to harass me by phone, several times. I feel sorry for his staff, he is very arrogant and self centered. My son's Dentist referred us to Brown because he has NC Health Choice Insurance. He walked in the room ... said "NC Helath Choice will only cover this consult, nothing more. Your cost is $2,300.00 his wisdom teeth will need to be removed asap, given me no real reason to spend this kind of money. His Dentist had mentioned my son had an fifth wisdom tooth. I would like to share my family's experience when my dad was referred to Dr. Brown by his regular dentist for the removal of a tooth. I called and scheduled the consultation appointment for my dad and the office staff was very friendly and knowledgable. His appointment was scheduled very quickly. At the consultation visit everyone was very nice and treated us wonderfully. Dr. Brown explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. This is the worst I have ever been treated.My surgery took place several months ago.The consult was only about 1 minute long after the x-rays.The day of my surgery is where the real problem started.He gave me a Valium to take "to help calm me".I did not need this.I took the pill at the time he stated.When I got to the office I had to wait an extra fifteen minutes.By this time the pill was wearing off.Then when I was walked back I was tossed into the chair.I have a problem with my right arm that it can not straighten out.I tr... read more

I agree with all the negative comments. Staff was nice, but brown was disrespectful and arrogant. if you don't like the fact I have Medicaid, don't accept it. I am happy with my wisdom teeth removal, but Dr brown is very disrespectful and acts like a child.

Dr. Brown chose to dismiss me as a patient after my consultation at 3pm on Thursday, he scheduled me for the next morning, when I was throwing up and running a fever the next morning, I called to reschedule only to be told that they can't do that, so I had to wait for Dr Brown to make it into the office- they called me back to demand I drive the 48 miles for them to take my temperature- I have a 3 yr old, also sick, who would have had to wait in the parking lot w/ my mother since you need someone to drive you both ways. He is rude,egotistical and unfriendly!Made my husband and I feel like we were in his office for a "free ride". He never introduced himself or spent any time with us whatsoever! Would never ever use him!
