Absolute croc of a doctor. March 2022, MRI showed complete tear of ATFL, partial tear of CFL. Guy had the nerve to tell me, “they shouldn’t be ordering MRIs on this.” Completely dismissed everything and ordered PT to fix everything. Did one session of PT, then did PT at home with exercises they gave me. Fast forward to today and I am having intermittent pain and instability in the ankle.
I had my ankle fused by Dr. Gross 5 years ago. At that time I had been through two surgery failed attempts to repair my damage. I was up and going strong again after my fusion walking normal. My only restricted activity has been running but at 67 I can accept that. Since the surgery my Fitbit shows I have walked over 7,900 miles. That’s the distance of walking through the earth.
