He’s rude, cold, and talks at you instead of to you. I got a vaginal exam done by him and he brought a chaperone into the room (who was very very nice and lovely) but he was visibly annoyed at my questions or clarifications and decided he didn’t need to complete a full exam. I’m sure he’s knowledgeable but just because a person is a doctor doesn’t mean they get to stop being a person or stop treating patients like people too. I don’t recommend him, especially for women or other people who have been historically ignored or un... read more
Terrible!
Unpleasant. Cold. Shaming. At least the Medical Assistant was nice.
Dr. Etzkorn was my PCP for years. He listened to my concerns and never let me delude myself about my health. When I was in denial about my weight gain he showed me a chart that display the unhealthy trend my weight was going. This led me to workout more and seek nutritional guidance. I always was comfortable sharing any aspect of my life that could affect my health. Especially because I knew he wouldn't judge me about it and only give me sound medical advise to follow. Dr. Etzkorn left clinical medicine, but if he ever retur... read more
Not friendly in the least. But ordered the labs i asked for and i wish i hadnt gone in on so little sleep because i would have asked for more. That being said he like others said here is not very nice . But he probably has the necessary knowledge

This man is not suited to be in direct contact with patients. He is shaming and demeaning.
I feel very sorry for Dr. Etzkorn. He is either a very unhappy person, or he has a mental disability that renders him incapable of relating to patients in a kind manner. I asked him what I had done to make him so mad at me, and he replied that he was not mad, just efficient. His demeanor is not what "efficient" looks like. It is what bulling and demeaning look like. If you decide to see him, make sure that you bring a witness to observe how he talks to you and, better yet, record your interaction so that he cannot deny it or... read more
I liked him. He is matter of fact rather than abrupt. He reviewed my chart and asked questions and gave me the side effects of the prescribed medication. He gave me time to ask questions.
Dr. Etzkorn barely listened to the description of my issue, diagnosed me for something else without any context relating to how that additional issue might affect my life, seemed generally bored, and left without a response to my “thank you,” much less a goodbye. I don’t understand why he became a doctor.
