Dr Drinkwater did a THR (total hip replacement)in 2006, and I was only 48, he did an excellent job I followed his instructions to a tee and I was up and driving in 6 weeks. He said they usually only last like maybe 10/12 years. Thankfully I am going on my 19 year with it and no issues! Great surgeon!
My knee surgery went perfectly. I was terrified that I was going to be in pain, but I was not. I followed all the instructions. I could not have asked for a better doctor, home team, and overall care team!
Canceled my surgery twice. Once because I was a smoker. During my consultation his nurse said. The doctor would like you to quit smoking. Never said if I didn't my surgery would be canceled. I did quit and surgery was scheduled 6 months later. It was then canceled again because my A1c was 8.4. Which he said was too high. My opinion is he only wants to operate on people with no underlying issues. M
